Mr. Abraham "Doc" Glaser was a Life Member of the Middle River Volunteer Fire Company.  Doc was a early member and supporter of the Fire Company from its inception in the mid 1940's until his retirement in the mid 70's.  He owned and operated the pharmacy in the Wilson Point Shopping Center for many, many years and provided employment for numerous young residents of Wilson Point.
Prior to the inception of the Baltimore County Central Dispatch in the late 50's Doc Glaser would answer telephone calls from the public for emergencies either in the Pharmacy or his apartment and then activate the Fire Company house siren.   He would then run to the FireHouse to man the equipment!
